Question DSA type 1 receiver build

I'm finally putting together an Stg kit that I've had on the shelf for too long and was planning on using a DSA type 1 rec. While reading through some reviews on receivers on the internet I noticed some complaints about locking shoulders not fully seating on DSA's as well as Coonans, sticking out a little bit- not being flush with the right side of the receiver. Anyone had that problem or did whoever posted that info not assemble it correctly? Thanks for your help.

That's a common issue on all the receivers. Either from the pocket not quite deep enough or different thicknesses on the LS themselves. Won't hurt a thing as long as they are seated and tight.

The only receiver I have ever used that had a LS that was almost flush was an IMBEL. The rest - Entreprise, Coonan, Century - all protrude a little on the dogleg end. No problem as along as it is in as far as it can go.

That is a great way to look at it.
