G-1 with Wood

Finally got around to finishing up some wood. The butt stock is one i got with a $89.00 Tapco G-1 a year or so ago. The pistol grip was from another FAL Files member, who i cant remember his name. I bought the pistol grip from him about a year ago for $12.00 He ended up shipping me two for the price of one because he couldn't make up his mind which one was better. I told him i would post a picture after i refinished it. This P/G is the one on the left.
One trip through the dishwasher, a lot of sanding and a few coats of Linseed oil.

Excellent work sportsnut. There is some beautiful pieces hiding under the dirt and grime some of that Turk wood. Just takes some patience to get it to shine through.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I have couple more sets that are refinished and stashed away. Can't ever have to much wood.
