Monsoon season in N. Texas!

I've seen alot of wierd stuff before but never my street turning into a river. All kinds of stuff floating down the street like trash and my neighbor's floating around in innertubes and rubber rafts.........where's the Coast Guard when you need them?

Wife and kids are in Dallas this week while my son attends a camp in Lancaster. Wife called this morn to say that the small bridge at the camp entrance washed out. I'll bring my life jacket when I head that way tomorrow.

Lancaster got 13" yesterday in less than 24 hours. I live about 10 miles west of Lancaster and we got 11". I have never seen it rain so hard in such a short period of time. Only getting a few sprinkles tonight.

April 13, 1957, now that was a rain storm. Last night was heavy dew by comparison.
