Need Cheap .223 for plinking

Who's the best source guys?
I was just informed of polymer coating on the Russian steel cased, in which "case" it should fare better than the old laquer coated stuff.

Open to suggestion...

There was a guy on Sturmgewehr selling Wolf polymer coated .223 for $79 a thousand. I understand it feeds well, but as far as accuracy goes, well it leaves a bit to be desired.
Sportsmans Guide has Federal Lake City M193 for $179 a thousand, with any cupons it would be a great deal.

Personally, I agree with Vince.

I have shot a lot of the lacquered Wolf stuff with no problems.

However, since the new Wolf stuff is polymer coated, I get that now.

SSarge,
Got a link for that ammo? I punched it up and it looks like a discussion board of sorts.

Thanks!

Limey looks like that's a bum link. I brought up ammoman though and sportsman's guide, one of those may pan out.
Might even do a WTB on marketplace...
thanks guys!

Clarification - this was an email that I got after an inquiry to price for 7.62x39 ammo - I did not order from them - did not like the sending of checks - prefer a more secure method on these arms length transactions, but have seen good reports from others that did use them.

Celt - sorry for the confusion - should have stated what this was more clearly ( I am not Joann nor do I know her )

Hello. Yes, the Wolf Special is still going on ! The total would be $86.50 delivered to your door. We accept money orders, certified checks, cashier's checks & personal checks (must be held 7-10 business days). We ship out same day with a money order. Thanks !

Joann

Cheaper than Dirt and Aim Surplus usually have goood deals on "Silver Bear" ammo in .223 also. I use it in my AR without problems. Russian made, steel cased and zinc coated. From my Bushmaster M-4gery I can get 2 inch groups at 100 yds.
