I was wondering if I should repair ground stud with bushing or replace with canadian lower. What's your opinion?

The Australian Army used lots of Canadian parts in the FTR program for their L1A1 rifles. I would just put a new Canadian lower on it. If you want you could even number it to your upper and lacquer it to match the finish...

GunThings had the bushings if you decide to go that route.
L/FN sold me an unissued Aussie lower a couple years ago. It has the upside down AD but no serial number. You might try him or a WTB ad in the Marketplace Forum. |

I bet you can make a bushing yourself.
I use a old section of FAL barrel and turn it on the lathe. It's cheep and works. Court in FL. |
