Assembly/disassembly of Israeli bolt
I bought an Israeli bolt and one piece extractor for the Izzy clone I'm planning.
The extractor has a weird spring that look like a check mark. It looks as if the upright part of the check (spring) fits into a hole in the bottom of the extractor. Then the curved part of the check fits into a groove cut into the side of the extrator. Am I correct so far? The spring is very stiff. If I do get it together, how do I take it apart? It's unlike any other FAL extractor combo I've ever seen. Those whacky Israelis! ![]() JoeLad

I think you pry it back, then up and out. Been a while since I did one.

Screwdriver, the one-piece extractor removal tool. The straight part of the spring goes into the bottom of the extractor, the curved part goes up against the bolt.

Actually it is very timely as most of the Sarco Argy kits came with one piece extractors in case those of you who bought them don't know. There will be blood.
