Refinished Handguards from P806

I really wanted a nice set of non-bipod Imbel handguards (I have a nice set of bipod Imbel handguards, but I like how the non-bipods feel)... so I jumped when I saw that P806 was selling a set of refinished ones for $25 shipped.
I got them this morning and what can I say?

Well, I'll tell ya! They're awesome!

Considering how truly beat most Imbel handguards are, I am more than happy with these! Nice and smooth plastic with just real small nicks/chips in a couple unobtrusive places. The metal's decent and the handguards fit great. The color (Aluma-Hyde II) is a nice matte black that's a dead-on match for new Imbel handguards (like TDW is selling for $80 a pair).

I don't know if P806 is getting into refinishing handguards or if these were just a one-shot, but I am very pleased.

His communication was very good, he was pleasant, he shipped fast (he spent $4.90 to send them USPS Priority), and he packed 'em really well.

I would certainly buy from him again!
