I am sorry that you are having the problem.

One more reason not to buy an electronic safe, electronic handgun safe, smart gun etc

Is there a way to replace the battery without having to open the door? I would also be upset. Let us know what happens when you call the factory.

Did you try changing the battery?
I have a couple electrionc trigger locks, and when the battery starts getting low it won't open....it light up, acceprt the codes and gives a green light, but doensn't have enough power to activate the release.
Otherwise your pretty well screwed.

on my safe if you enter the wrong numbers 3 times it shuts the key pad off for 10 or 15 minutes and it flashes and the directions say not leave the directions in the safe!

It's a Feinstien safe in disguise You put all your guns in there and then you can never get them back again.

Damn! I was thinking that myself, but you beat me to it!

We had a locksmith come in to service our gun safe at the police department awhile back, as we were having problems getting it to open (tumblers were worn). I was asking about servicing safes, gun safes, etc., as I was planning on eventually buying a safe. He told me DO NOT get the electronic keypads.

Glad it all worked out.

Nothing like needing to shoot and not having access to your gun!
