First H T S swap
I am going to be doing my first H T S swap hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I am using the info the thread "Lower receiver assembly". The instructions in there were originally posted for a Metric lower. Is it the same for an inch? I don't know how to post a link but if you do a search it is spelled receiver not reciever. Thanks

i before e, except after c.
Changing the inch H/T/S is no different than a metric swap with the exeption that the inch has a sleeved pin for the hammer axis pin.

I originally found the thread by accident and had a terrible time finding it again until I miss spelled reciever.

An exception to the rule is weird.
![]() On the inch, the hammer strut/spring does not come apart.

That's why I usually just use the contraction "rcvr"
![]() I **know** the rule of "I before E...." but my fingers don't always respond as directed. Good job on the HTS! Best, Paul

To make sure you don't have a possible problem with it before going to the range, did your inch rifle begin life as a Century thumbhole? If not you are lucky
If so, you will probably have some spring and other issues rearing their ugly heads.Jason |
