new fal identification help
just bought a fal at the salt lake gun show, L1a1 configuration, receiver is marked
"CIA sporter" "C 19xx" any help and information would be appreciated. doc

need a bit more info. it is possible (being that it has a early C serial #)
that it is a pre 94 gun. What kind of furniture? flash hider, bayo lug? Lower serial #?

this gun looks entirely like a L1A1, 5 prong flash hider/bayonet lug, Brit furnature, don't have the gun with me now but as I recall, enfield lower dated 1957...
also, the upper is metric varient, it will need to be milled to have the charging handle fold down. also, at stated in first post the only markings on the upper are as stated... thanks doc

Century kit built. Most likely Pre AWban
probably Centurys own reciever. Who knows what the US parts are on it. Ya might want to look it over.
