Extractor removal tool

I searched for an Fal extractor removal tool on this site, but must not have done it correctly.
I got my rifle over 20 years ago and have only removed the extractor and spring a few times. Last week when trying to re-install it, the spring and plunger were launched across the garage. I found the plunger right away, but the spring is still awol. I think I should get the proper tool, (cause it saves a lot of cussing) or at least a good WESCOG way to do it. Where can i get one?? Thanks...Andrew

DSA sells a decent one.

You can also do a search in marketplace .
One of the members makes an updated copy of the inch version which is supposed to work really well.

I was looking at this one myself when HellsEngineer offered them for sale on the Marketplace Forum. I've got the regular metric type that DSA and Bushmaster sell and have found it ok but not great. This tool looks like it will do it very well.

HellsEngineer manufactures an excellent extractor tool. I have one and use it often. Although DSA is an excellent company for buying parts, try the marketplace first, then DSA and also Gunthings.com has fast shipping too.

A search for bubba extractor tool should come up with a coat hanger version. I've been using mine for quite sometime and still holding up.
