Redmond, OR Gunshow
Was in the area so my father and I went.
Was better then the usual shows but not great. highlights. Argie FMAP preban for $1900 (wood furniture?) Para FAL stock/BC and top cover $600 couple of century jobs for $700 HK91 (mad in germany preban) for $2600 Russian capture K98k $500..didnt see any 'special' markings. Colt 1911A1 1943 $1200 (makes me wonder what my fathers 1918 dated is worth) Got some 7.62x54R made in Russia for $75/thousand And I was hoping to NOT spend any money (as I am almost broke) But on the third walk through the show I noticed an FN-49. It was a century import Egyptian in very good condition. Wood was excellent. Bore was a tad dark but decent rifling. Price was $375 I ended up talking him down to $350 and got the dang thing with my C&R. I havent paid attention to the prices on these things but I'm thinking I did ok.
