C & R License fee
Can anyone tell me whether the fee is still $30 for a new C & R application?
I downloaded the application a year ago ('lost the website link) and I'm just now getting around to filling it out. If somebody could refer me to the website, that would be better still. Thanks. |

Kool. I'm licking the stamp now.
I received the AIM Surplus flier in the mail & they've got more C & R rifles (heck, pistols too!) than you can shake a stick at. And, they'll ship 'em to my door for free! I should have completed the stupid app. a long time ago... Thanks again. |

Sent mine in back in sept. Best 30 bucks I've spent in years.
Just make sure you send it to the Atlanta office and not the Dallas office or it will be delayed; also make sure you fill out the citizenship form. and then the waiting begins, mine took about two weeks. Ozzie

According to the guys at ar15.com the mailing address has change to Atlanta. Please check it before you sent your application.

Dang! I sent mine to the Dallas address noted on the form I down-loaded from Empire Arms in mid-December. I'm still waiting.......
Does anyone have the phone number for the Atlanta office so I can check that they even received it?

Crap.
Mine went to Dallas too. As was mentioned, it is the Dallas address listed on the form. Oh well. I think we can trust them to have the mail forwarded to Atlanta. Um.....right?

Sending it to the Dallas office is probaly no big deal. I sent mine in to the Dallas office December 20th and got the C&R License on the 20 of January. I have read if you forget the citizen certification it will take much longer to process.

Is the "citizen certification" a different form? I only checked the box that says I be one......

Once I received my C&R I realized I should have done this a long time ago!!!!!!Suddenly the places you call don't hang up on you anymore and you don't have to kill a lot of time and money with FFL transfers.
Some FFl'ers started jacking fees higher every time I came back so I had enough and got my own C&R best investment I made!!!!!!!! |

Thats the truth. The cheapest dealer I can find to do transfers for me does it for $20.00 a pop, not very cost effective when you're into rifles that typically go for $200.00 or less. I bought one gun and it practically paid for itself, with the bundle that I have coming up shortly it'll have paid for itself three times over.
