I recieved My M-1 Garand Kit from Wholesale Gun and it was Great!
The kit was a Dainish or so I am told but all the marked parts were SA (Springfield) except for the bolt and it was BMB (Brela) the Barrell ,Op rod, Bolt,Trigger Group and Feed parts all looked New. The Butstock appears to be Walnut and had some wear & gouges but Looks very good. I am Extremly proud of te Barrell Dated 2-51 It has 98% Park & really looks as if it had never been fired. should make a good shooter!,Thumper

Guys,I did not see no Crown But all the parts that had #'s on them had D-##### and there was a sticker on the side of the stock with sight pictures for 50 - 400 Meters and a formula for "Vind" Adjustment. The kit was Advertised for $279.00 in SGN. HTH,Thumper

AR Thumper, might be just the stock is Danish, or maybe the parts were never assembled into a complete rifle, marked and refinished by them. I only have 1 Danish Garand to compair it to, so I cant say without a doubt. mine is an M1D and just about every part on it has the crown stamping, even the stock, scope and mount. Have a Danish sling, bayo and scabard marked with the crown too, seems like they marked everything. YOOO VINNY |

YoVinni,Have her pay for it & make a big deal about how proud you are of your "Present"
,But I think you are right only the stock is Danish . I went to show my Garand to my close friend who has a Springfield Garand also tonight. We got to looking His is all Springfield & has the same numbers All preceded by a "D" His reciever Serial # 16XXXXX looks better than mine but mine is WWII vintage He even said my rifle looked better. Well I could buy a Springfield Bolt & have all Springfield! ,Thumper
