There is significant fault here on both sides of the law, the owner was incredibly ignorant for even walking his animal in that direction and even more ignorant for refusing to stop when told to do so. It would also appear that the officers were overly aggressive toward the animal which may have or have not growled at the officer who just grabbed and threw it's owner to the ground. It will be ruled a justified shooting and nothing will come of it. The bottom line is American citizens need to approach any and all encounters with law enforcement with extreme caution, they can be hazardous to your health and your bank account.

I'd no more walk toward guys with badges and guns than I would guys with turbans and guns or guys with red or blue bandanas, baggy pants, gold chains and guns.

I think the dog owner here is truly an ignorant and naive fellow.

Well, hell, I believed courts of law were interested in justice before my turn in divorce court.

Now he is wiser...he understand that oinkers are NOT your friend, and any interaction with pigs has the potential for disaster, and that oinkers will use damn near any excuse to bestow violence with impunity.

Welcome to the party, pal.

Yep.

And some cops wonder why some folks either turn around and walk quickly away or even RUN away. Stay away from cops, they ain't your friends. And don't try to help them and/or give them information you think would be helpful. You know the old saying "no good deed goes unpunished". That old saying has involvement with cops written all over it. I don't like it and I wish things were not that way but thems the facts.

Is there a single case of unjustified shooting of a dog by an LEO? Not a court settlement or an offer to pay for a new dog or whatnot. I'm talking charges for animal cruelty, that sort of thing- you know, what would happen to me if I just walked up to someone and shot their dog in the head with no provocation.

I haven't heard of one solely b/c they all appear to be justified ex post facto.

I think an LE got in trouble awhile back for abusing his issued K-9 unit. That is similar to the only LE in the USA I can think of who is sitting on death row also. Care to guess the occupation of the person that LE killed?

Looks to me like the guys is walking away from police on a public sidewalk, is thrown to the ground and has his dog shot (with a rifle!) mere feet away. Glad is wasn't me, I'll be doing hard time if some SOB ever shoots my dog.

Are you bi-polar? Cuz just the other day, you were advocating for everyone to be forced to carry ID and that the cops should be able to shoot anyone who ran from them.... Are you seriously mentally challenged or do you not see the dichotomy between your two posts?

Dave Hume is a furiously masterbating LE wannabe. Still annoyed about that first speeding ticket he got when he was a teenager and for being rejected for acceptance to the police academy due to chronic bed-wetting and an untreatable smegma condition.

So chronic bed-wetting and an untreatable smegma condition are unacceptable to the LE community, but insurance fraud, destruction of other's property, rape, and assorted other offenses (once sworn of course) are fine with your gang?

But did he fantasize about raping and eating women? That would've been no problem for getting accepted to the police academy apparently.

To answer a few questions:

JasonB: In response to the first part of your question, "Yes". To the remainder of your question involving illegal and immoral behavior, "No".

SHOWFAL: Those two fantasies are not required, nor desired, for entrance into any police academy I know of. I know that I do not fantasize about, or actually rape, women; can't speak for others. With regard to eating women, I DO fantasize about "eating" women, if you catch my drift. Please forward pictures of your girlfriend, wife, or both. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Apparently the answer to the 2nd part of the question is yes based on the articles we have been treated to lately.

Apparently, you can't read. Have your handler reread the response to you and give you an M & M when you get it right.

We can all read and we have gotten to see your fellow LE engaging in that kind of behavior as their co-workers looked on and/or assisted,.
