For you guys who show up tomorrow, i won't be around till 5:00 PM at the earliest. Be very careful of fire. Today it was 91F with a RH of 15%. It's supposed to get to 94 tomorrow. Please, no camp fire. Park in front of the old house on the gravel till your exhaust cools down. Also, I'd rather you limit shots to the 150 yd. targets or closer during the heat of the day. I'll bring a fire truck down when I get home. See you early arrivals tomorrow night and the rest of you Sat.

I was going to ask about attending this weekend but it's really too hot for me to have fun away from water. Then my dad did an Evil Knievel maneuver on his tractor so I need to cover for him on the irrigation of his orchard.

Play safe and be ready for fire.

Probably for the best, things get a little crowded in the heat.

Thanks to the intrepid few who made it.
Needed the down time and the grins.

Thanks to 12v71 and Coffee Vixen for the brontosaurus steaks.

And until Brush says "Go Away," I should be there once a month
until the snow starts flying.

You did a great job cooking the bronto steaks. Let us know when the next time is and we will have more.
All in all a great weekend was had by all. And watching elkaholic putting up a tent in the dark is a hoot too.

Gordon, I'm going to be brutally honest! You fawked up talking chit about other people and not letting it go. You burned bridges! I'm not talking for the people I've talked to, this is coming from me only.

You give about no help with setup or clean up. You expect everyone to do every thing for for you. You did bring you're quad a couple of times. One time we did have to work on it, the next time you decided the fire danger was to high to use it, never did see you run out to set targets up after that.

I guess what I'm saying is, that all of us work as a team other than you. If you never show up for a shoot it will not hurt my feelings.

Just for the record, I've known Elkaholic for a few years now and he typically wants to be friends, or at least friendly with pretty much everyone. He is always willing to share his toys, help people when needed, lend a hand wherever, etc. For him to post what he did is uncharacteristic. For him to do so shows the depth of how he feels on this particular subject, which is also not common on an open forum like this. That should say something.

Not that he'll listen to me. I think I said "Please god just get me through this one, and I'll never get drunk again" too many times. I just had to quit altogether.

Prayers sent anyway though.

Tell her we're praying for her and pulling for her.
