Got a buttplate screw, locking shoulder, and charging handle pin on the way and i be done! Then i can lay back and relax while i look for a sling swivel and carry handle. Stamps be done this week and a quick dip in the park after the CH relief cut and stamps, then i can fiddle with the lower markings and leaf stamps (ill make one some how) and thatll be bout it for this ol girl!

If i can get that CH darker ill be happy, think ill heat treat and harden it and see how it parks after that.

The wood furniture on your rifle is really nice.

Love the darker color.

I'm going to have to get some wood for my L1A1 after Gunplumber gets finished with it...

Thanks! Im waiting for old south to get back kicking production out so i can get some beech on my aussie and walnut on my brit, then we can have some target fun

so checked the barrel torque with a shtick and its VERY low....like 40 ft/lbs low.....gonna have to try a differnt breeching washer to get more torque.

No way I could trust 40 for anything other than a m8 bolt haha
