Israeli variant

Thought I would set up some specific variant image threads that "We" could add to and have a great collection of specific variants for reference.
Any stage of build would be great.

An early Light Barrel:

A slightly later Light Barrel:

A heavy barrel:

And then some how ended up with this kit of Mike's that I should be twisting together soon..

My old Izzy, "The Hebrew Hammer", with a replacement 4/71-dated barrel I found at a gun show. It's both lugged and threaded.

With the original 3/67-dated barrel that came with the kit. The builder/original owner cut the lug down in order to comply with the AWB at that time, and counter-bored the muzzle. It was damaged at the crown, so he bored it out about 3/4" and internally threaded it for a BFA.

I'd be interested in a listing of which parts were hebrew marked on which variants.. I have some random Israeli parts laying around and need to figure out which type to put them on some day.

If you read the 'Israeli Rifles' sticky in the Firearms Section, you'll be able to see how my rifle evolved over the years.

Just a few parts away

Just a few more parts to come in and I'll be screwing this one up always liked the Izzy look. A bit of a mutt, but it should provide a fairly decent representation of an Izzy LB for the collection. I'll post up a pic of the final assembly after I track down a good t1 receiver and get it all parked. Anyone have some handguard spacers available?

Well... that's a mighty fine of you. But I don't think this build is near completion yet. I've got to send the parts to be parked, after I track down a nice T1 receiver. Either this kit, or the Imbel/Imbel are the "Lucky" build victims for the fall shoot

I have 3 of them, got them here a long time ago. Off the top of my head, I believe I got them from, Pat, Rooster and Ex1? But that might not be accurate.....Its been a while.

Nice work!

Lots of nice looking builds here, love me some Israeli LB. Some day I plan to add a HB to the list, just as a conversation piece if for nothing else. Damn things are called HEAVY barrel for a good reason!

Well this is long overdue, but here's a shot of my Israeli princess...haven't named her yet, and I'll take some better photos (with the hinged top cover installed) very soon.

The short of the build includes: LMT Type 2 (31K s/n# range), NOS barrel / coupler / FH, furniture, original bolt/carrier, unserialized lower, Izzy PG

For the time being, here she is:
