USPS Regional Rate A, 11 x 13". Average $10, will never exceed MFRB @ $13 and by being a closer fit, less packing material.

So I recommend charging $13-14 ship, use regional rate A with no insurance. Use the "profit" from shipping to self-insure for the 1% chance of a book going missing. Ship on-line for free delivery confirmation.
Also consider the Priority Flat Rate Padded envelope. It is 12.5" by 9.5" flat. No packing should be required. After all it is very hard to damage a book. Flat rate is $7.25, charge $10.00 and self insure.

AS gunplumber said, ship through on-line service. If you have PayPal, you can ship through them at a discount.

Put me down for a copy.

I am down for a copy also! Fantastic!

Perhaps look into shipping at what is now called "Media Rate".

Used to be called Book Rate. A bit slow but may be cheaper...

Having had a number of books damaged in shipping recently (both hardcover and softcover), I'd recommend strongly against the padded envelope.

My experience is that it's NOT very hard to damage a book.

Maybe that's just me and YMMV and whatall...
