Both you and Spikie have this serial number listed, did you buy it from Spikie?

Thanks!

Updated listed...

I also highlighted a serial number that I think is most likely a match even though one part has a BGS stamp and the other doesn't.

I also highlighted a set of serial numbers that are only 2 rifles apart in production..

Are these the early Belgian kits that recently came out or a G1 Type C?

I have an all matching G1 kit stashed away:

Lower: 607
Barrel: 607
Bolt: 607
Carrier: 607

I haven't checked the FH, I'll check it and post an update. Where are the #'s on a FH?

Also, it has white numbers on the stock, #217.

Your bolt and carrier are likely not of G1 origin..

Hey guys. First official post...OF COURSE it had to be the numbers.
This is my first FAL (of many I'm sure) :

Bolt: 29175
Lower: 29175
Flash Hider: 16377

I picked this kit up from a local shop for $180. Missing barrel & receiver so no #'s on that. As I said, I'm new to FAL's but I believe it to be a G1 FN-FAL. I'm having some difficulties finding a barrel & receiver for it in my area but...I absolutely love these rifles. I fell quick & hard.

Here are the numbers from my recently-acquired Apex kit:

Lower: 81820
Bolt: 36992 with BGS markings
Flash Hider: 27737 (possibly stamped over some other numbers)

Also, I could not find a serial number on the carrier, but it did have this marking on the top:

It had a couple of other random single letters/numbers stamped here and there, as well as a "J" lightly electropenciled in the side, but nothing that looked like a serial number.

The bolt had a similar mark to what is pictured above, with an "S" instead of the "H".

Edit: I am editing this a year and a half later because I found a source for the markings above. It is this Belgian proofmarks site. The upper mark is the inspector mark for Woit Christophe, and the lower mark is the Perron, which shows inspection of the breeching system. I'd be shocked if anyone ever sees this, but there it is nonetheless.

The top stamp, which looks like a "tent" or "arrows" is Belgium.

Not sure of the "H" and/or "starlike" stamp.

Apex G1 kit

I just got my first FAL kit. Here are the numbers I could find.

Lower: 5194
Carrier: 43859 BGS
Flash hider: 82927

The bolt is not numbered but I believe it has the BGS stamp. It is in the place it should be but is mis stamped, and thus, only half there and I can't really make out exactly what it is. There are other poorly stamped marks that can't make out on the bolt as well. I could probably get some good pics with my camera if anyone is interested?

Well.. they haven't been made since 1958 and what is on the market who knows. I am sure Century is sitting on a fair number of them as they use them for their production rifles but I don't know if they are saying or anyone knows how many that is.
