FAL Handguard ID

Can anyone tell who/where these were made? They are a black/grey color.

If the front tabs are metal you can rule out US made. Not seen any NBC Handguards US made with metal tabs.

No expert but they look like grey Belgian NBC Handguards.

What does "NBC" mean related to handguards?

A photo of the interior would reveal the ID. They look to me South African. The inner surface has reinforcement ribs. If the ribs are squared on the top they are FN, Imbel, or Argentine. If the ribs are round top they are South African. The body material is also determinant. Fiber glass was used for the FN type and plastic was used on South Africans.
