I just checked their website. I saw the 75 series still listed. Maybe a computer issue?

They still sell their high-end rifles with Mauser actions, but, yes, they have ruined their product line for the most part. Shlt, even Ruger sells relatively affordable Mauser-type actions still, along with Winchester.

Their Shadow 2 series and Czechmates are all steel, and very popular with the competition crowd.
My friend, who keeps trying to get me to compete in 2-gun, loads light and has a reduced power spring in his Shadow 2, and I have to admit, that thing is super fun to shoot. I'm going to get one soon I know it. |

I went back to the website, this time on my laptop. When I looked originally it was on my phone and I guess because of the different setup for mobile devices I could not easily navigate around their site. I'd really like to get a 550 FS in 30-06, I guess my best bet is gunbroker as I did not see that particular rifle available. Did see some nice safari rifles with claw extractors though!

At the end of the day, plastic guns sell a more than steel ones now. Can't blame a company for selling what people want. Steel guns are now a specialized item now, and will eventually be a special order item.
