FS L1A1 and Imbel rifles and parts

I've decided to sell my nice L1A1 on a DSA Brit Receiver.

It pains me to sell it and my Imbel, but I need to pay off my credit card bill.

Another reason for this sale, is because my Dad passed away January 27th after his battle with brain cancer, and I told him before he had the tumor removed last August, that if for some reason he would not be able to finish his custom dream pickup truck, that I would finish it in tribute to him, with the same paint scheme as his 69 Peterbilt 359 Log Truck. It will be dark Blue with Gold stripes.

This was his 69 Peterbilt 359 back in 1974 or 1975.

His custom pickup truck is a 66 Peterbilt 351 needlenose truck sitting on a Ford E450 chassis, with a 8.3 Cummins and a 6 speed manual transmission. He cut down the grill and radiator and fabricated the radiator/bumper mounts, motor and trans mounts, and cab mounts. He has most of the hard stuff done, but I still need to get the power steering lines, clutch hydraulics, brakes lines, hydroboost lines, dash gauges, heater/AC, and electrical installed in the truck. I still have to source scaled down Peterbilt round fuel tanks and battery box. I'm thinking of putting a rollback deck on the back of it so I can haul my 72 Monte Carlo to car shows and special events, when I want to take both rigs.

Here is the 66 Peterbilt pickup next to his 73 Peterbilt 359 Dump Truck. As a comparison to size, the 66 Peterbilt was originally the same height as the 73 Dump Truck, but due to the smaller tires on the E450 Chassis, it scales it down quite a bit.

I already had my own project to finish - my 72 Monte Carlo, so now I have to juggle both projects until they are both completed.

I will be keeping my only other FAL - STG58 with Flypaper wood on it, so I'm just cutting back and making room in my gun safe.

The L1A1 has the following parts on it with what it cost me to buy each one;

1. DSA Brit L1A1 SLR Receiver - $550
2. L1A1 Brit kit with L1A1 lower receiver- $550
3. New L1A1 sling - $75
4. Wood carry handle - $60
5. DSA folding charging handle - $50
6. (9) L1A1 mags + (1) L1A1 mag body - $270
7. YellowHand wood furniture set - $175
8. Locking shoulder - $40

I've shot 30 rds through it and it functions flawlessly.

For everything listed above, I paid $1,770 for everything as it sits now, and with only 30rds through it, and it runs like a Swiss watch, I figure $1,600 is a bargain price considering how much and rare a US L1A1 Brit receiver is to find now.

Next up is my Imbel build that I just got finished a few weeks ago. It has not been fired yet. After my Dad's passing I had forgotten to check the headspacing with the locking shoulder installed. I accidently ordered a .258 LS by mistake, but the correct .257 LS will be here Friday and then I will test fire the FAL.

***DSA scope mount not included, so the price was dropped...I forgot that scope mount is my new DSA Para scope mount***

It has the following parts on it;

1. Imbel kit (bolt and carrier numbers match) - $600
2. New Imbel Gear Logo metric Receiver - $570
3. New DSA charging handle - $50
4. US DSA muzzle brake - $35 (just needs tightened up)
5. Refurbished stock set from 4markk - $45
6. Locking shoulder - $40
7. US Made custom furniture set in Tiger Stripe (works great for an Imbel) - $200

Total for the Imbel build was $1,540. I figure $1,400 is a bargain on this rifle. - SPF to RSeattle206

Last but not least;

1. C1A1 rare gas regulator - $150

2. C1A1 rear sight - $125 - SOLD to Tobias Took

3. C1A1 stripped lower receiver assembly with takedown parts still in it - $135 - SOLD to embatp

complete Inch FSE HTS set - like new - $90

hammer strut assy - $15

L1A1 Brit Black Marynl furniture set - Lower receiver not included that's in the pic - $150

Indian L1A1 Receiver - $60 - SOLD to jam762 - shipped 3/7
Adam's L1A1 para stock adapter and bolt - $100 - SOLD to jam762 - shipped 3/7

Inch complete pistol grip assembly - $50 - SOLD to Tobias Took

Aussie wood grip -$45 - traded to The Chief - shipped 3/13
(2) Inch HTS - $15 each set - 1 Available, 1 SOLD to Invictus77 - shipped 3/13
Inch selector - $30 - SOLD to pl521 and shipped 3/7

Prices do not include shipping and insurance. Will only ship the rifles to your FFL Dealer.

Standard Marketplace rules apply, so the first "I'll take it" wins.

Funds need to reach me by 7 calendar days.

Shipping is FOB - Responsibility for losses during shipping fall on the Buyer. Once I drop it off at the Post Office and I send you the tracking number, the Buyer bears the responsibility of filing a claim in case of an incident. Thanks!

L1A1 price lowered as I removed the C1A1 parts and installed the L1A1 gas regulator, and lower receiver assembly.

C1A1 parts being sold separately now.
