Yea. That bill is no bueno. It’s named after “sabika sheikh“. I don’t know what old Shiela Jackson Lee was thinking but it seems like a strange choice to name the bill after.

Looks like they do a lot of cut and paste from older assault weapons bills. For example, it mentions Mitchell Arms AKs specially by name.

Also they throw in a ban on possession of .50 cal ammo just for some random fun, as well as a feed strip ban just to end the public scourge of the Hotchkiss HMG.

Just using/abusing the dead like they normally do in order to further their confiscation agenda. Drip, drip, drip.

Yeah, some cut and paste but there's also a slew of other nasty sounding stuff, like mental evaluations and licensing for just about everything.
Something like this is ALWAYS on the books somewhere. They use the "throw it all at the wall and see what sticks" philosophy. With the latest attitude towards "common sense" gun BS and the realization that conservatives are slowing folding like a wax candle in the sun, I'm feeling a little more concerned that something like this could sneak in and pass.

That bill has zero chance of passing. I would be surprised if it even gets more than a few sponsors.

The $800 a year "fee" for the privilege of owning a firearm is complete nonsense.

And talk about penalties, they want to imprison half the nation for the rest of their natural lives.

That woman, if you can even call her that, has more than a few screws loose.

If,,,big IF,,anything passes in an election yr,,,well,,,,going to be an interesting period of time to live in,,,thats for damn sure.

Everyone with a brain has been warned,,,knows whats coming,,eventually,,use the time to prepare.

Close friends, family,,,old army buddies,,other like minded decent folks,,etc.

Learn how to write old fashioned letters once again,,,,anything like this passes,,all the electronic communications will be monitored 24/7/365 for real time leads/intelligence on where the firearms and the people with them, are located, who's going to cause trouble,,where as,, old fashioned letters,,,,no way to read all of them.

The question folks should be asking right now,,,,what will these people do AFTER,,, when they actually get this shit passed,,,or something even worst????

When passed,,this will be like blood in the water at shark feeding time.

Violate the 2nd,,,,all the others will fall in very quick order.

hitler dictated such a law in 1933 after he closed the chancellory.

The next time I hear "THE RANGE IS NOW HOT", it just wont be the same.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."

In their Gun Control Act of 1938 (which our Gun Control Act of 1968 (by Dodd-D, of CT was loosely modeled after), they banned undesirables (including Jews, of course) from owning weapons. Party officials, well, just fine for them to own them...

Kind of like Nancy Pelosi and Alyssa Milano (and many others of the left) today...

Some people still want to put a happyface on the third reich, as if Hitler and gang were just grossly misunderstood.

My question is, how far are we away from having a government that mimics in practice, what the Nazi's did in reality..loading 'undesirables' on to cattle cars, disarming the peaceful, outlawing criticism of the government' actions? I'd say it's very, very close.

If the cattle cars ever show up again,,,coming for anyone,,,first burn the cars and then burn the people that sent them.

That we're in agreement with,,,walk up here,,,then have a nice ride home with a sack lunch provided,,, and before leaving,,,a hot shower and change of clothing.

Get caught crossing the border illegally a second time,,,give the men a shovel for 60 days to hand dig the footings for the wall,,,,then a nice ride home with another sack lunch and a crisp new five dollar bill.

3rd time,,,90 days digging

4th time,,,120 days digging

And so forth.
