Final word on DSA ACOG mount?

This post concerns the DSA FAL scope mount that DSA modifies to accept an ACOG without a mount (a TA51 for example). This allows a lower mount position for the ACOG.
I have searched the archives, the web and even solicited 2 opinions from DSA regarding this mount and I have yet to establish a clear answer to the question:
Does this DSA mount position the ACOG low enough on the rifle to achieve a proper mount height and cheek weld?
I am not looking for a chin mount or even a slightly high cheek mount. Its either the right height or not. I would use it with a stock tube folding stock.
I would appreciate reading the experiences of those who have used this mount with an ACOG. Were you satisfied with the cheek weld/height or not?
Thanks in advance
