Remington 504 magazine

Anyone have one or know where I can find one? Checked Numrich but there out. Ebay wants $100. Thanks

The 10 round Remington 597 .22 magazines work well in the 504 after fileing a slot into the aluminum body, use a 504 mag as a template for where to file.

I gave up on my .22 lr 504 after putting a Lilja barrel on, pillar bedding, glassbedding, freefloating...

It was never consistently precise, and the striker broke, and the bolt felt cheap.

One of the best looking .22s, with great stock geometry, that has come out lately, its just too bad Remington didnt use the 40x as the model for the action.

I remember buying one when they came out back around 2004-05 IIRC. Was a nice gun overall but I remember how odd I found the bolt-handle threaded into the side of the bolt.
