Braces, Love them or Hate Them.

I love them because I don't have to pay and wait and I can now shoulder them.

Those are beautiful ahem* pistols ahem* that you have there. I kinda wish I could own one. Though I don't really have a reason other than the kool factor.

I suspect that these devices are going to go the way of the bumpstock at the earliest possible convenience of a democratic led White House and Congress. They'll just wait for the next nutjob to use one in a mass shooting (read more than two people dead or injured), and they'll use the tragedy as a springboard for more regulations of your freedoms.

Enjoy them while you can.

Got my one and only just a few weeks ago, after discovering the Tailhook. The idea of a chunk of rubber hanging off my AR pistol seemed silly, but the Tailhook, being aluminum and solid, was what put me over the top. Here's the "crazy"t hing though... it is actually functional as a brace. Now I want to build a mirror image AR just to have 2 and go full Rambo with an AR on each arm!

What surprises me, however, is that nobody has made one that will replace a standard adjustable stock. I know a lot of folks see just having the adjustable tube as the ridiculous "constructional intent," but if you have a brace there then the intent was the brace, now wasn't it? I know the Tailhook Mod 2 is adjustable, but I believe it uses a proprietary tube.

In any case I'll happily use mine until the silly laws are rescinded.

i have 2 on 10.5" AR pistols, which can sit on the seat beside me with a 100 round snail drum as my "carry pistol", in pennsylvania.
If the concept of heading on down to the local Home Depot and transforming $100 worth of random pipe bits into a killing machine doesn’t appeal to you, you’re a frikkin' pansy. Also, you’re probably sane and will live significantly longer than I will.

Nonetheless you disgust me, and I take comfort in the knowledge that your obituary will be nowhere near as humorous as mine.

The next time I hear "THE RANGE IS NOW HOT", it just wont be the same.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Assembled one prior to the last big election utilizing a KAK Shockwave brace.
I like it!
Have an ACOG on it and can ding steel like nobody's business out to 200 yds.
A fun way to burn ammo and makes a good *travel piece* along with a few mags.
Wears a backpack.
Rounder upper at MidwayUSA.
Favorite color: ham
Wife's favorite color: glitter
