Like minds, but mine may complain a little too, but she does it while smiling, so I just discount it.

Anyway, I could not get the gas tube out of the gas block with the rifle assembled, and so decided to cut it off thinking it would be easier to get it out later, and the tube is inexpensive.

After soaking in Kroil for 24+ hours, I still cannot get the tube out. Yes before someone asks, the roll pin is out.

I'm not a AR guy. Am I missing something obvious here?
What are the tricks to get the tube freed up from the gas block?
Had not seen that one but as cruising tool section at Brownells saw a "new to me" tool for removing stuck gas tubes. Has two 4~"4" plates with pair of grooves on each side that clamp around gas tubes then once have a good supported hold on it with big handle that allows twisting and pulling while tube is supported to reduce crushing or breaking. Never had that happen unless forgot to drive pin out for a moment but after seeing will hopefully be prepared if happens to me. Any stuck part I have whether on pocket watch of diesel tractor gets soaked a few times with PB Blaster before get evil with it.

Update # 8

Sighted in the Leopold.

Let it sit for 20 minutes to cool off.

Shot it 5 rounds from a lead sled for pattern at 100 yards.

Nope, tote it everywhere you go as the well sorted rifle with you is better than it buried in safe when a ground hog is begging for a boolit or zombie tries to eat your brains. If shake the thing apart a second time then need to know it is a self disassembling rifle.
