Curbelo Moulton Bill (H.R. 3999.)

https://survivalblog.com/preparednes...17/#more-48400

(Important Warning To Gun Owners: A Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives has introduced a horrible piece of legislation that would ban far more than just “bumpfire stocks.” This vaguely-worded bill would ban nearly all aftermarket triggers, trigger springs, buffers, buffer springs, bolt carriers, many muzzle brakes, and possibly even full capacity magazines and magazine extensions. It all hinges on the bill’s vague and undefined phrase: “increase the rate of fire”. Violations would be a felony, with a five year prison sentence for possession, manufacture, or transfer. Most ominously, just like Feinstein’s bill in the Senate, this bill has NO Grandfather Clause!

This bill already has 25 co-sponsors, including 12 Republicans. Please contact your Congresscritters immediately and insist that they oppose the Curbelo Moulton Bill (H.R. 3999.) Be sure to remind them that that this bill constitutes a Federal “taking” without compensation. (There is no Grandfather Clause, no Sunset Clause, and no method provided for registration. We’d simply be required to turn them in for destruction.) This is the worst piece of Federal gun legislation since 1994. It is crucial that you take action! It has already been referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary and could be before the full House in just a week. This might be on the fast track. Wake up, folks!)

Lets see how the collapse of the Las Vegas investigation affects this waning drive to ban guns.............

I predict Congress take a pass on it all, and will leave it up to the BATFE to reverse themselves, and then generate lawsuits over their actions for years to come.

Afterall those Congress critters know what we know and that the entire fiasco stinks...........FOX has done an admiral job at reporting on the collapse of facts.

Obama must be shitting a brick and on the phone to Iran "to fund another chapter," that they are working on as we speak.

Scurilous bastards are at at work trying to destroy this country in favor of a Caliphate, run by Iran.

I heard one story that Ryan had shelved this bill, then heard today that he is quietly fast tracking it onto another bill. Does anyone know for certain what's going on?

If anyone thinks...

That this can't get thru because DJT is in office, think again.

Just like most thought there was no way the ACA could pass because of the traitorous Roberts being in the SC.

How did that work out for us average folks?

If not directly, I can see this being some 'midnight rider' attached to some other bill, literally at the last moment.

People need to realize we have NO 'friends' amongst the PTB in this matter.

Also, if anyone thinks there will be no more 'incidents' because DJT is driving the bus, think again.

This garbage is well, fully, pervasively, and entirely ENTRENCHED in regards to these folks.

People need to realize, that they NEVER, EVER, stop. They are in it for the long game, and always will be. Both sides, will NEVER stop.

WE are THEIR enemy...an informed and armed populace cannot be tolerated.

Sounds like foil, but it's not. Follow the money, follow their actual voting records, judge by their actions, not their rhetoric.

If by some miraculous intervention this does not pass this time, don't think they won't try again. The next 'incident' is just around the corner...and if they start placing 'hamburgered' kids on the evening news, that'll probably do it.

They.
Just.
Never.
Stop.

As of Wednesday 10/18

The mass media-driven Congressional gun control juggernaut seems to be slowing. It is noteworthy that the horribly vague and unconstitutional H.R. 3999 appears to now be stuck at just 25 co-sponsors—but it is frightening to see that 12 of them are Republicans. Hopefully the bill will die in committee.

Please keep up the pressure, folks. This fight is far from over! Please contact your Congressional Representative repeatedly (by phone and e-mail) and insist that he or she oppose ALL civilian disarmament legislation.

There are now a half dozen bills pending in Congress. SurvivalBlog reader Kevin A. sent me this summary list:

H.R. 3999: To prohibit parts that increase the rate of fire of semiautomatic weapons (25 co-sponsors)
S. 1916: To prohibit possession/transfer of certain firearms/accessories (38 co-sponsors)
H.R. 3947: To prohibit possession/transfer of certain firearms/accessories (173 co-sponsors)
H.R. 3962: To require face-to-face purchase of ammunition, reporting of bulk ammo purchases (29 co-sponsors)
H.R. 4025: To require reporting sale of 2 or more handguns (3 co-sponsors)
H.R. 4052: To prohibit transfer/possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices (85 co-sponsors)

-copied from https://survivalblog.com/ you can link to the different bills there.
