Waiting for the storm.

Hanging out in Kauai waiting for the storm to hit the East coast. Got our safety gear on just in case it gets windy here. Just kidding, we were doing a zip line over a 250' canyon. 7 different lines and it takes about 1.5 hours to get down the mountain. What a hoot for a couple of 70 year old kids.

Have fun Art. My daughter is in Kehaha right now for work. She's an anthropoligist and lives on Oahu. My wife and I aren't going to be back to Kauai till June. We go about every other year.

Going to have to call you "Zippy" now.
Enjoy your vacation. Be ready for post vacation depression after you get back, which I am currently suffering from. Seeing grandchildren and a few days in Vegas was a pretty good time. I'm back at work again but copius amounts of various brewery craft beer is helping in the evenings.

For real? Do you have to make them fly or is it kosher to ground swat them?

SUV tires do a pretty good job of making pressed chicken.

A man that will purposely run varmints down in a vehicle is good folk. So many squirrel and illegal to shoot in city limits any I catch in road and can run over without driving dangerously I smash them. Hit a coyote in town back in spring. They won't let people shoot them and town has nothing but skinny ratty looking little squirrel and coyote I run them down in my truck. Is it 83° or 84° in Hawaii today?

When I was a kid in the '50s my dad had a Chevy pickup and we used to go road rabbit hunting almost nightly. There was a bounty on Jack Rabbits and dad would get them between the headlights and run em down till thumb. Never saw one try to run off to the side, they always just kept running zig zag back and forth till they got clobbered. Country entertainment in North West Connecticut.
