Yes, I checked that out. Thank you Tony. When you say some were assembled here, what exactly do you mean? For example, were receivers made or put together here? Were there stripped receivers imported or were they barreled receivers? In other words, what was imported if not complete rifles and what was done here in the states after importation?

Thanks.
That is one not seen ,at least by me, on the various lists of importers.
Do they still exist?
Where were you able to find that bit of information?

I believe that EJK Devco still exists though I don’t believe they import rifles anymore. I seem to recall them being in The Woodlands, TX while some of their guns were marked Houston, TX. They also imported a small number of Type 2 50.00s in the 1970s and a few Type 3s (I’ve seen a Devco marked 50.41 HB and a 50.61 folder.

You had to mention the Sig 510-4.

It's the only Sig .308 rifle that's California legal as well as other states with AWB's.

It's the holy grain from my POV I would sell my blown flatbottom to afford one of those.

And that's saying a lot from my perspective.

SIG AMT

During the beginning of the AWB in California they would let you register a SIG-AMT without any hassle No grenade rings and a muzzle break I dont know weather it would be grandfathered now or not but they had the 20 round mags when registered JUst A FYI Those of us with Swiss rifles were even able to get ammunition from the swiss consultate for their postal matches along with targets a verification forms for a rangemaster to certify

20-round magazines are probably a no-go in CA--- there are "factory" 5- and 10-round magazines (rare and expensive)!!!
