French Mag Pouch

Im hoping this doesnt sound too stupid. Awhile back I had a 5 pocket greenish, tan mag pouch. FAL mags fit almost perfectly. It had a shoulder strap, and belt loops. Does anyone know of any thing fitting this description?

Are you sure it was French?

pretty sure. if I recall correctly, I got it from a guy that sold French Foreign Legion, French Army, and English Army gear. His website was quite informative. I think it was used for a MAS machine gun.

Sounds very much like the mag pouch for the FM 24/29, the main French light machine gun from the 1920's right through to the 1950's.

the lay out is upright, side by side. I loved it!
