Bushnell 1-6.5 Elite Tactical

I had a beautiful Elcan SpecterDR 1.5-6 for my para, but unfortunately my eyes are not so good, there was no focus adjustment so I had to sell it.

My newest acquisition will be the Bushnell 1-6.5 Elite Tactical, FFP, BTR-2 reticle and ..... side focus.

From what I've read, Bushnell has been pretty proactive in this arena of optics, and they're attempting to emulate features of the better scopes, i.e., Schmidt & Bender, along with good QC & quality glass.

This one better work or I'll have be listing this one in the Marketplace too.

that looks like a excellent choice,
although I had to choke a bit on the price,
but all decent 'glass these days looks rather expensive for my poor wallet

I likey the reticle very much. I want one of these nice 1-4 or 1-6's on my PSL eventually.

I read "Bushnell" and I'm thinking a scope,$150 tops...

For that price I would go Leupold vxr patrol...579..lifetime warranty.

Mark IV, any feedback on the Bushnell 1-6.5x24 now that you've probably had time to use it? With the first focal plane, does the BTR-2 reticle shrink down to just a small dot on 1x? How easy/fast is it to acquire that reticle on 1x vs. 6.5x, with illumination and without?
