Got John Deere green, Kubota orange, Cat yellow and Massey red to go yet.
That's for the base coats. Then the sponge camo will get applied.

Sorry no sequins , at least not yet. Will take that into consideration though.

I painted my first car (1971 Buick Skylark) electric blue with micro sequin metalflake and like 6 coats of hand rubbed laquer. It always looked wet...kinda like your rifle.

Some day somebody is going to pay $400 for that stock, strip it down, and think they made a killing while wondering who would have done that to it.

Those old USGI fiberglass stocks can hold their own. This one is on a 6.5 Creedmoor Bula.

Snowflake special has company.

Yep, she looked lonesome so I used a couple of Dupage H&R kits on Fulton receivers. Barrels on these are med. weight 19.5" Bula NM. Headspaced Bula bolts to 1.633.
Now the decision on what color these stocks will end up is in the thinking department. Red and White comes to mind.
Don't worry Hawk, your kits will be going on these after paint.

Just stuck the two in boring wood stocks that came with the kits from Dupage.
Hopefully get a little range time in with them today.
When the weather warms up a bit I will paint the fiberglass stocks.
Until then the traditionalists will approve.
