G-Series Marked G-1

The butt stock isn't correct as it has a G-1 trap door butt plate. The lower looks like a S.E.D.marked G-1 lower. The selector has been reshaped for full auto and the out side center has been ground down flat. The barrel has a lug that looks like it was from an earlier Belgium M-1 as it has no bi-pod cuts and is a open eared gas block, The flash hider looks like it has a wire holding it on. Hand guards look like shit.Bolt carrier is G-1, Unsure about the bolt itself. Missing the correct carry handle. An old HK marked dust cover. Nothing is matching at all it looks like. I'd be amazed if it sell's for 5K

Bad Ju Ju on the right side of the receiver. The ejector block pin staking looks drilled out and possibly there was a semi-auto ejector block installed.
The locking shoulder was replaced as no finish is evident.

Not trouble

If you noticed, It's not a Pre-May Dealer sample and Not a post sample at all. It's one of the G-1 marked upper receivers that came MIGHT have come into the USA when Browning was importing the 1959 to 1963 G-Series. The dead give away is the fact that it DOESN'T have a production date under the NATO CODE.

PS, If you look at a Pre-May or Post Sample G-1, A, Their production Full-Autos and imported as such! Now some one said the seller deleted the picture of the serial number which could be a deciding fact as to who might want to own it especially if it came from Canada after 1963 and it isn't on the BATF serial number list.

I have seen many FrankenFAL's in my time but not many with a low rear sight and a high front sight. ARMSCORP builds for gunshows were notorious in that type of configuration.

Armscorp factory argie imports came in with this sight configuration. The paras are horrible, can hardly see the stubby front sight post

Seller's description says :
Quote:
Belgian made FN FAL semi auto 7.62x51 rifle.
Well it must be semi auto because the pistol grip recess is filled with J-B Weld to prevent the selector from rotating to the "rock and roll" position.

How is that? Transfers from FFL on 4473.

Right rear of receiver looks cut for SUIT tabs, but not left side???

LS replaced after 60 years no surprise. Either is low rear sight, could be some idiot found a nicer site and swapped.

Wonder if itís an Arnold. Low chance but possible. That would be huge. And a boat load of legal fun for somebody who wanted to beat up the Swamp. Need S/N.

Looks like a jacked up G1 which explains trap door buttplate & HK cover. Now the open ear block? Maybe from the early BGS/ G1 development?

RE: Right rear of receiver looks cut for SUIT tabs, but not left side???
That's a metric thing so you can seat the LH side of the cover in it's rail before you seat in the RH side. Common on even type 3 Argy's.

I called. No Gxxx number on the receiver.
Which I think is odd as I don’t see another serial number on the receiver.
