Can you bait them where you live. Up here we can bait yotes and night hunt them. Yote pops work real well. Freeze some meat scraps in a five gallon bucket with water. They can't drag it off and it last longer.

Not sure about yotes,but fox like to pee and poo on top of things in the terrain that are just slightly higher than normal,like hay bales. Sometimes ant hills. Its a dog thing.

Our previous home in the Boise foothills had a typical suburban wrought iron fence around the back yard, consisting of 4' vertical stakes spaced 4" apart. Perfect for keeping our dog inside and wandering strays out. Problem was the neighborhood fox had no problem squeezing between the stakes; one time I watched him simply glide through the fence like a magician.

Mister Fox had also made a habit of eating my dog's leftovers before we wised up and started monitoring things more closely. Evidently he also got a bit miffed when his dog food supply suddenly disappeared, and consequently made his displeasure known by leaving a nice pile of fox poop in my dog's food bowl.
