Like what's been repeated through the years of this thread I just saw it for the first time and what a fantastic story! Seriously, write a book. Make a movie. Call Clint Eastwood, he loves this sort of story. And thanks for being the penultimate illustration of the term "man up."

Starting to regret allowing her so independence when she was younger.

Got a package in the mail from Jessie, the ECU from the bike I gave her for transportation while in college.

05 Kawasaki ninja zx12r rev limited to 7k and detuned to 100mph max and the flashport cut so it could not be fixed.

she figured out I had dickered with it, replaced the ECU and flashed it with a superbike ROM.

Just happened to be on today and picked this thread to read.
