B-23 Dragon

I guess I'm in airplane mode this weekend. I saw one of these at Litchfield Park, AZ in the mid-late 90s. They were asking $10K.
You can see where the Super DC3 got it landing gear set-up from. I like the looks of it.

I kept my SNJ at Mike's at Oakland for 2 years before he moved to Ione, CA. Was owned by my old boss Ed Daly before that.

I remember hearing of the one at Litchfield when it came up for sale. Apparently pretty serious corrosion. The type not being popular, even then the consensus was it wasn't economically feasible to bring her back to flyinf status. I'd love to see that be wrong !!!

Looking at the cockpit and that area of the aircraft you can see a bit of the A-26 lineage. Sounds good taxing by.
