Izzy HB price help- updated w/ photos

I joined a few years ago to sell some parts I got in a trade. I'm returning again because I've ended up with an Izzy HB build on an Enterprise Israeli pattern receiver.

It was a home build from an associate who bought the receiver new from Enterprise. Its got what I believe is a scrubber Belgium bolt/carrier. As far as i can tell it has all the correct Izzy features, carry handle, charge handle, bi-pod and muzzle device ect.

The acquaintance got out of the Fal building hobby long ago and never got around to head-spacing it.

I realize this would effect the value but was wondering if any of you had and insights into what this weapon might be worth?

I saw that listing in a search, it sounded pretty premo. This one is a home build with the original finish and a NOS stock set.

Without pics, it's hard to say. But, on average, $1200.00 to $1500.00

If the head space was never checked/set why is there a locking shoulder installed? Filling the hole?

Okie, I see no pics. You'll have to use a free photohosting website such as Imgur. Upload them to your new account there, then copy/paste (allow) and click on "Huge Thumbnail" at the bottom of their page, then paste them into your thread.

It's the locking shoulder that came with the kit. It was checked but he never got an appropriate locking shoulder.

Nice firearm and not trying to troll, but why doesn't the locking shoulder fit in the hole? Is the locking shoulder or the receiver out of whack?

The only problem with the locking shoulder is it came with the kit and once built the headspace was too tight. This was built in the mid nineties and he couldn't find one that fit at the time. It's sat in a safe for 20+ years.

Cool. in current form (head space issue) a buyer would need to fix it, so in the $1200 range.

I hate to restate what others have said on other threads even if they are correct, but you'd get more selling it by tearing it down and selling it as a kit and a separate receiver. Probably about $300 or $400 more.

Understandable on the price, it was definitely factored into the purchase price when I bought it.

On the subject of tearing it down, It's a little out of my wheelhouse and knowing my luck I'd probably FUBAR something in the attempt.

Thanks for the responses.

Fal guy

If the barrel is new or in like new,ex cond it alone can be worth 650-700.00 the reciever depending on what it is could also be worth anywhere from 550-700.00 just for these two parts alone !! Better to part it out as others have suggested!! The coupler alone off the bipod can bring 100-120.00

I know the return on investment would be much better parting it out but I'd end up having to buy tools I'd never use again "wrench and barrel vise" and maybe mess something up in the process. I'm not a builder by any means.
