Thoughts on Mayflower Gen 4 chest rig?

I am considering purchasing this chest rig

I will be using it at the range, possible for hiking, and for some active tactical shooting courses this fall. Before I plunk down nearly $200 for it, does anyone here have some input? It was highly recommended by several current and retired SOF across the internet.

No experience with it, but if you can deal with the color this'll save you $50.

i wear the gi elbv while hiking around or a simple chest rig with gi mag holders. low cost & proven. the gi pouches hold ar, fal mags or shotgun cartridges or candy bars, radios, a pistol, whatever you can stuff in there. or remove mag holders & replace with canteen pouches which can hold even more gear, mix & match.

See if something from the Tactical Assault Gear sale rack will meet your requirements- https://www.tacticalassaultgearstore...hest-rigs.html
