Who has the best deal on parkerizing solution?

I'm wanting to parkerize a couple firearms, and haven't bought any solution for years. Does anyone have any deals on solution?

I'd like Manganese, if possible. I like the darker parkerize.

Yes, they have it but they have always been expensive. I know there has to be cheaper out there.

I've always used this guy: http://www.palmettoenterprises.net/P...-Welcome-.html

He's a one-man shop, but his stuff has always done well for me.

If you want a dark, almost black finish A-Brite is the stuff to use.
Ron Yates & Jimmy Streetman who used to own Global Trades
(then it was renamed Arsenal USA in 2004), turned me onto the stuff; it's what they used to use on all their Global Trades AK recievers & also their AK builds.

If I remember right, it's a Mag/ Phosphate solution. If you want, I can go check further details as I have a 5 gallon drum of the concentrate that is labeled w/ about 3 gallons left in it (the stuff goes a long way) sitting out in the garage.

Back in 2010, it cost about $200 for a 5 gallon drum of concentrate, including HazMat shipping from Houston to MT.
Some of the best stuff I've ever used.

Thanks, but 5 gallons is much more then I need. I wanted to do a couple rifles and a couple of pistols. I think one of the kits from Allegheny Arsenal is more then I need.

First I need to rig up some sort of heat system, maybe find an old gas grill.

Back late 80's, Palmetto had a special WWII green park that did a just incredible job at reproducing that lovely green everybody and their brother has tried to find ways to duplicate since..
Sadly it hasent been available for probably 25 years...

Lauer custom weaponry

They have both Zinc and magnesium parkerizing solutions. They are a good price and work extremely well.
