Diplomats are only needed, after everyone stops shooting at one another.

Trump hates socialism, and what better way to set himself up for next yr, than to send troops down south to kill off that socialist paradise.

Border battle, and the special counsel report forthcoming, only reason we don't already have combat troops in Maduro land is my guess.

The optics of large US field hospitals set up in any country without medical care, combat engineers turning on the power, clean water taps up and running for people without access to decent water, yep, we're going south once Trump can get clear of the home front crap.

All wars are economic. We always want other peoples stuff, or at least get to it before other people do or even before they thought they wanted it. Its a racket, pure and simple - and the soldier is who goes and gets it for those that sit behind a desk, or in another safe place. Its never about freedom, or anything else either other than money.

Not all, but most.
