Good movie if you have winter time blues

Watched a good little film the other day. For anyone who has winter time blues, check out the movie [I]The Endless Summer [I] 1966., by Bruce Brown. This can be found on Hulu or Amazon Prime, maybe even YouTube. Even if you don't like surfing, its a great little documentary.

Is that the one with Jan Michael Vincent and Sam Eliot?

I watched this movie a few years back. Thanks for reminding me of it! It is cold and snowy here now, so a good sunshine-y warm movie may help.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060371/ - This is probably not the one you are thinking of, ddbtoth.

The one I'm talking about is made in 1966, and is a adventure documentary. Some cool footage of Africa, Australia, and New Zealand in the 1966 film.

We don't get "winter time blues" down here 'cuz we don't get winter weather any more.

It does get hot as Hades in the summer time though. August is when they open the Gates Of Hell and air it out in order to get ready for the Christmas Rush.

Saw it back in the day at the Veteran's Memorial Bldg, San Luis Obispo California with (live) narration by Bruce Brown. Was quite the experience at the time.

Seen it before when I was a kid and watched it a again about a year or so. Sure made me wish I lived around an ocean when I was a kid. I was in Hawaii a few years ago on the north shore during winter. The waves were incredibly huge. Crazy dudes out there riding them. I wouldn't even go to the edge of the water.
