Something new from Mossberg in a double stack.

So thats why MD Arms dropped drum production.

That money train left the station awhile back.

But look, here comes the 5:15 in from New Haven Connecticut!!!

I'm holding out for the Shockwave version.

I applaud Mossberg's attempt at innovation, but damn! that looks unwieldy.

Waiting for the 935M. Probably short in coming since Jerry Miculek runs one for multi gun stuff.

It seems the tube is now just a hanger for the slide.

No thanks. Looks like a cumbersome pig. Maybe there is a special application where this makes sense but not for me.

I hope we get ours in soon as I want to play with one. The concept is good I just want to see how it feels. Put a pistol grip stock and why would it be any different than a FAL?

Well, a pistol grip makes the ideal location of the safety, almost unusable. The pump action concept seems rather cumbersome and heavy with the addition of the mag and mag holder and keeping the now useless tubular magazine.
The bottom magazine lends itself to a semi-auto.
It still isn't a semi-auto rifle by any means.
Maybe the next model will be a bit more functional and designed for a bottom loading magazine.

Claims it weighs 7.75 lbs....must be empty. Not with a box of 20 shell locked in..
Not really my cup-o-tea. I've never had a problem with a tube fed. It would be swell if they'd add an interrupter,so you could stop the next round fro,m the tube from feeding,so you could pull a switch-a-roo with the load in the barrel. My old JC Higgins model 20 has one,and I found I've used it more than I thought I might.

They should modify it for OTF bayonet or light or maybe even a kick stand. .
