I don't know that post count has anything to do with knowledge. There are people here that have upwards of 30,000 posts, and have their heads burried deeply in their collective asses. There is no such thing as a Belgian curved FAL magazine, either metric or inch. Your issue of distrust should lie with the asshat that sold you the Bren magazines as "Rare Belgian made magazines", and not with the people here trying to help you understand what you are selling, high post count or otherwise.

More likely they are converted BRITISH inch magazines, given their markings. But even as such, and even though they've been refinished, they are a good deal at $69, in today's market. (ALL of the FAL magazines except the cheapo Asian copies are getting scarce and expensive.)
In five or six years, we will look back wistfully on the current prices of FAL magazines, and wish that we had invested in hundreds of them. For that matter, I already do have regrets. In the early 1990s I bought my first re-packed batch of mixed Israeli and Belgian magazines, all in Izzy brown waxed paper bundles, for $4 per magazine, and most those were NEW! But soon they were $6 each, Then they were $8 each. And now they they are $30 each.Want to hear an ever sadder story? In the mid-1980s I had the chance to buy PALLET BOXES of original Armalite factory-made AR-10 waffle magazines for $2 each. But I passed, since I didn't own an AR-10 or HAC-7, and I was on a tight college budget. Those mags are now selling for $75 to $125 each. I learned my lesson from this, and I recently bought almost 500 HK G3 alloy magazines for around $2 each. Most of those are NEW. Those too will dry up someday. I do not expect to see any miraculous boatload of metric or inch magazines to reach our shores and hence collapse the current prices. The surplus mags have simply dried up. ![]() ![]()

Would be interested to see the locking nub. Will it appear like the modified Lybian mags or will they be better done?

FWIW they were indeed converted Indian inch magazines.
