Hammer won't reset

I have a century hts in a dsa para lower. The hammer will not reset if I hold the trigger down and slide the bolt back. How can I correct this? Do I need to get a different hts?

Be sure you have a disconnector spring installed.

1) Hammer spring may we dirty. Take out and clean.

If that doesn't work ......

2) Trigger and sear springs may be switched. Switch them and see what happens.

If that doesn't work ......

3) Hammer spring may be weak or too long.

Did it reset before? A selector in the full forward position rides through. Also make sure you have the little plunger for the sear spring installed

I have found Century triggers to be pretty good kit, but the hammers and sears have never functioned properly when used as a set. The sears (disconnects) can sometimes work with milsurp hammers. But Century hammers, that I have attempted to use, were just junk.

I have had similar results with Century HTS sets. They usually take a lot of work getting them to work correctly. Hammer reset was a common problem I had.

Here is a link where I had a similar problem and how I corrected it.
