Ridiculous deal at PCA for Fathers Day

https://palmettostatearmory.com/vort...magazines.html

Vortex Strikefire Optic and 10 Pmags for $189. ($200 basically after shipping.)

The optic is typically about $170 alone, so you get over $100 worth of PMAGS for free.

I read a few reviews, and they were all glowing. Biggest negative feature for me is using CR2 batteries instead of an AA.

Mine came in yesterday and like all Vortex stuff I've touched, I was very impressed. Not sure how I feel about the cantilevered mount only having one bolt for mounting on the rail though. But I mounted it on a spare parts AR, and plan on trying it out this weekend.

Good bang for your buck. And from what I read, can handle 7.62 recoil with ease.

Must have sold out this morning. If you are interested, just keep checking back.

Last week it was available on Tuesday, out of stock Wed and Thursday, and back in stock on Friday - which is when I placed my order.

So it may come back.

They have another good deal on a Vortex SPARC with 520 rounds of 5.56. That shows up pretty often though, it's been tempting me for about six months now.

Great deal but I got plenty of mags after years of hoarding. Love the Strikefire.
Run one on my FAL and another on a .300BLKOUT SBR. Great optics for the $$.

I'm covered up in AR mags. That was the only real hesitation I had on this deal as well.

But you could easily get $10 each or more, and end up with a $180 optic for $80 or less.

Personally, I'm trading them to my old man for FAL mags. He's got several hundred stacked away from the good old days of plenty. He needs more AR mags, I need more FAL mags. Works well for us.

Sale is over.

But looking at the dates for the reviews, they've had this sale before and I suspect will again.

That deal goes off and on for almost the last year.
I picked it up a few months ago and running on an AR pistol works pretty damn fine

I took it out and played with it last week. (That's what she said)

Other than wishing it had a little bit of magnification, I really like it. I'm not a fan of the cantilever mount style though, I always thought it looked kinda goofy. Still do, but I can live with it.

PCA

PSA

One letter makes a big difference.

One would think that folks that build guns would pay more attention to detail.

Here...not so much.

Hehehehe...

I'm way too particular/detail oriented for my own good sometimes.

Especially around here.
