Turn Out the Lights
I have not posted much in the last few days. Not much reason to do so.
I always enjoy watching the posts of those who do not agree with me. But, when all the professional pollsters have your candidate dead in the water what is the fun? So, in sum, four years of insults, derision and fear of the President of the United States has led to a wave election with Democrats picking up control of the Presidency, Senate and House. I told you so. But, then, who cares. I will be back when I care.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

The polls get worse. The crowds are now booing the Republican wonder kid, Paul Ryan, when he articulates the base Republican ideas and platform. Romney has lost the women, the Hispanics, black people and now those over 50.
The Senate races have folded into a Democratic wave election. The House Republicans are panicked. Ryan had to come off the campaign to give them a pep rally. Kind of one of those ever so common now, pay no attention to the polls kind. The tea party base is burnt out. Republican evangelicals and Catholics are becoming worried about having a Mormon Bishop in the White House. What is left of the moderate Republicans are openly critical of Romney and the stupidity of Paul Ryan. Karl Rove is getting ready to retire on the enormous fees he collected in this his fair well appearance. Having quit organizing, promoting the idea that money for TV could win the election, Rove is now toast. The embittered posts here reveal the disarray, depression and gloom over 'conservative' prospects. Most fun however, is Drudge at a loss for words this morning. 'TIME TO SHOW YOURS, HARRY', I assume he is speaking about Reid's tax returns, although with Drudge being gay it may have another meaning. This just turns off the evangelicals who are aware Drudge is gay and to those not picking up on it, just keeps the Romney tax returns issue up front.

The election was a setup from the beginning. There is really no difference between the Pres and Romney. The current President is perfect for their plans. He'll be the scapegoat when the great "reset" comes. He'll live like a rock star until then (that's all he wanted anyway). Either way, good luck to us all and be well, nyquil

The polls are about the worst way to predict an election, this far ahead of time.
It is just a money making scheme for the pollster and a weapon for the MSM. Precisely because of those who design the poll questions, those who do the polling and those who are selected to answer at this time, make them moot. Some elction of note when the electorate did not make up its mind until just before the election.. Reagan, Truman, Schumer are three that come to mind quickly. In this election, those who attend the rallies are so badly recruited by the opposition party that those with booing are likely the best ones to go to. Lincoln knew that. The simple fact is that the economy, the deficit, Obamacare and international issues that make Obama look like a drunk in church will ultimately decide and probably for Romney. Of course there may be a 3rd party turnout of 5%+- for Lron, and that is ok by me. I want Obama re-elected deep in my heart because he has not been taken to the woodshed, and he will be under a republican controlled Senate, House and SCOTUS. Too many constitutional crimes need rectification and it is hard to do so to a squalid ex prez like Carter. Last edited by V guy; September 22, 2012 at 08:11. |
