Did some gunsmithing last week, put a Apex aluminum trigger in my M&P. (huge upgrade over the plastic factory trigger)

My ammo is set aside, just need to figure out optic or irons. Leaning toward going outside my comfort zone and leaving the Garand behind this year.

Me shooting a FAL at the ORFALfest? Who woulda thunk it? Of course the 03A3 is making an appearance.

Probably will still bring the mousegun for fun, or to shoot Tat2's 3 gun with.

I'm bringing the kitchen sink again - in the hope that I'll actually shoot it all. It's never happened before, but a man can hope.

I'm shooting MBR Irons while I still can. I'm running a mouse gun in Tat2's 3-gun deal. And a Glock. I hope tdb53 shows up and runs that thing with a revolver, a lever gun, and an 1897 trench gun. He could win it.

I hope we get to shoot that Benelli from last year - M2? Smokin' gun, that one.

That is good news and I am glad you could make it!

There has been rain reported in the area and it was raining when I left.
Hope it keeps up the cool moist weather, until mid June.

I had a crazy wet boat ride today. It started in decent weather, then we learned it was a "sucker hole"' in the clouds. Cause we were all the way out and had just finished hauling and resetting the gear, when we got hit with a rain and hail storm. The skiff had no protection so I stood in front of the pilot and kept the hail out of his eyes as he full throttled the 150 outboard back to dock. Hands were kind of cold when we got back... Lotta work for a hand full of crab

edit to add:
I suggested a lunch of beans weenees and slaw for Friday on the food thread, using ALLFAL's SIL's sausage. Since we need more than one, we know Dave's SIL wont be filling the order "personally" and will substitute his homemade German sausages, for cost.

Comment about sausage on this thread, as usual, and about the lunch idea, on the FOOD thread.

2) $10 per person for ribs & chicken for Saturday dinner

3) Your food assignment. If you don't have one, you need to go over to the Food 2103 thread and volunteer. We may need help Friday night and/or Friday lunch

4) $3 per person if you are eating Brats on Friday afternoon

5) $20 shooting/match fee

6) $5 entry into King Match = $100 winner, $40 2nd, $10 3rd ...if there are 30 shooters.

7) Oysters. I don't know - but if you ordered them, you know the price. Except for me - I ordered one dozen and I don't remember how much.

I have a ledger for this year, so payments can be booked and reviewed for posterity. I can't stand the idea of those PP folks skimming off our hard earned money, simply cause they offer a highly controlled conditional convenience that would lock up our money if they sniffed out an issue. The reason I like checks is the canceled check is receipt and it only costs $0.45 to "transfer funds". Sending MO's/cash is okay too, they just dont come back to the payer after processing.

I am out of town and dont have regular access to internet so hang in there if you dont hear back right away.
