Sledgehammer Arms / Randy Kline

Randy built and refinished a Aussie L1A1 kit for me several weeks ago. The rifle looks and shoots great! I would highly recommend his work. Pics of the build can be viewed under the L1A1 files.

Randy is just finishing up refinishing and screwing together my C1, and so far he's been great to deal with.
I should have my rifle back next week..

Highly, highly recommended.

Randy knows FALs, and also knows what WE want. He ACTUALLY listens to our needs and delivers.

No big ego to work around, no stuff to have to 'live with' to get top quality work.

I'm tough to deal with, admittedly, I'm a bit anal, and Randy took it all in stride. Anyone who's seen the quality of my C1 knows what I mean.

I will use Randy again for sure. Very highly recommended!

Just corresponded with Randy last night - he is now backlogged and not accepting new work until sometime in the future. Contact him to be placed on the wait list.

Thanks, CactusCapt -- that's what I like to see - th' 'Sledge being
kept busy. He's too damned big to let him get bored - no tellin'
what's liable to happen.
Seriously, y'all. If you have FAL work you'd like to have expertly
done, USE him! And I URGE you, if you live within driving distance
of Jacksonville, Texas, take your work to him and Meet him. I
promise you'll be glad you did.

I have an Argy kit there waiting to be built. At first I thought about taking it there just to meet another Filer but after talking to him on the phone it was obvious that he is over burdened with work and I would be better off just mailing it to him. If things get back to normal some day I might make the trip.

Thank you.

James

My Coonan in the white G1 upper is on the way to be mated to my BGS kit. Want to get some hot bluing done on the upper and converted StG barrel to match the lower. Anybody have his email address? Want to see if he might be able to do some hot blueing for me.

Shoot Randy a PM here (Sledgehammer) he is NOT a computer commando so it make take a day to get back with you BUT he does respond quickly. I personally HIGHLY recommend Randys work and business ethics! GREAT GUY!

Cool Randy is "Da Man"!

I had 2 FrankenFals that needed work. I was going to Florida, I live in El Paso, so I took the scenic route and dropped them off with him (after hours) at his shop.
A very nice, personable and knowledgeable man.
On my way back to El Paso I meet with him at his shop (after hours, again) & picked up my rifles.
Both work great, zeroed in on the first attempt and the work was very reasonable priced!
I would reccomend him to anyone, without a seconds thought.
We need more people like him in this world!
David.
